Ten miles outside Hiawatha was the annual M&M stop complete with candy and another chance to socialize. Hiawatha rolled out the red carpet for us with food booths and special offers from merchants. Tonight is our final meeting together on the steps of the county courthouse. Tomorrow
morning, all of the BAK riders will travel the short 20 miles to White
Cloud for the ride's completion at the Missouri River. Afterward, the
big celebration dinner happens there and then everyone will have to
say goodbye for yet another year. |
Biking
Across Kansas converged into a single group today in Hiawatha.
Overnight, the weather was a little rainy, but by early morning the
dampness had subsided and the sun eventually came out. With westerly
winds, riders enjoyed yet another tailwind into our destination.
